On Monday I had the pleasure of attending a social media lecture with Interiors Magazine hosted at the Lapchi showroom. James Barra, publisher of Interiors had some key take aways pertaining to social media within the Interior Design industry:

-Identify what social media outlets are appropriate for your business
-Create a social media plan for 12 months based on your events and projects
-Know your audience, take the opportunity to interact with your consumers and clients
-Be consistent with your brand messaging

I was delighted to learn that the luxury brand Burberry, is the leading company on Facebook with almost 7 million “likes”.  At Jo Chicago we are avid social media enthusiasts and look forward to continued success reaching consumers on behalf of our luxury based clients.  We can only hope that Jo Chicago will be a close second to Burberry.
