Bentwood Premiers New Showroom at NeoCon

Always the eventful day as a Jo Chicago intern, this past Tuesday I was introduced to Bentwood of Chicago when I attended their event celebrating innovative design during NeoCon at the Mart.  I thought I knew great kitchen design when my family redid our kitchen a  few years back, but the kitchens presented in the Bentwood showroom knocked my socks off. Besides being beautiful and bursting with incredible details, superior technology is also highlighted as a signature feature.

Thanks to Bentwood’s partnership with Premiere Systems, the space is outfitted with intuitive, fully-automated temperature, lighting, security and video controls that can even be synced via an iPad or smartphone.  Bentwood also debuted BentwoodConnect – their A/V component that integrates design and technology. This system allows for real-time video conferencing, offering clients an additional level of connection and oversight to their custom project.  The afternoon’s greatest surprise?  What you couldn’t see.  From TRUFIG’s flushmounted electrical outlets, light switches and data jacks to the Sonance hidden speakers, Dana Innovation’s presence is at once impactful and subtle.

Bentwood of Chicago, Premiere Systems and Dana Innovations put their very best foot forward to create truly unique, elegant design solutions for their customers.  All of the attendees agreed – Bentwood’s soup-to-nuts approach on technology is truly unique!
