CHICAGO (July 14, 2011) – On Wednesday, July 27th, food and wine aficionados will have a rare opportunity to enjoy specialties from some of Chicago’s most celebrated chefs, and support a worthy cause, all in a truly unique setting -– a landmark penthouse and rooftop with breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline.
Chef’s Table, presented by luxury appliance maker Jenn-Air and CS magazine, will celebrate the magazine’s July restaurant issue and benefit the Chicago chapter of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA). The gala event, billed by CS as “the most exclusive chef, fine foods and wine event of the year,” will be held at the Reid Murdock Penthouse at 325 North Lasalle Street from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $150 per person. 100% of which is tax deductible.
Featured chefs include Jean Joho of Everest, Chris Macchia of Cocco Pazzo, Jonathan Beatty of Davanti Enoteca, Jackie Shen of Chicago Cut, Curtis Duffy of Avenues, Martial Noguier of Bistronomio and Cory Morris of Mercat a la Planxa. Participating pastry chefs include Megan Neubeck of Terzo Piano and Celeste Campise of Table Fifty Two.
In addition to chef tastings and wine pairings, the event will include live music; cocktails from Adam Seger, founder/mixologists of Humm Spirits; and a silent auction for culinary items and experiences.
